The primary action was to get the app. The page was organized as Plan, Track, and Relive, with a planner, a tracker, Trip Reel, and a travel book. It invited people to join 22 million explorers. That figure is Polarsteps' own claim, quoted here so the comparison has a date on it.
What Wendways is built to keep
Wendways uses four states with the same spirit: Want, Planning, Living, and Remembered. The record is explicit about five modes: flights, trains, ferries, road trips, and cruises. History can arrive from an OpenFlights CSV or a TripIt export. On Silver, the trip owner can track and split expenses: log what everyone paid and see who owes whom. Friends can join in, including people who are not paying and people who are not on Wendways at all.
